Im September 2023 er\u00f6ffnete im Naturpark Gantrisch bei Bern das multimediale Besucherzentrum \u201eSpace Eye\u201c. Diese hochmoderne Sternwarte bietet Zugang zum gr\u00f6\u00dften \u00f6ffentlichen Teleskop der Schweiz und einem immersiven 8K-Planetarium. Entwickelt von Ars Electronica Solutions<\/a> in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Deutschen Zentrum f\u00fcr Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) und Garamantis, setzt Space Eye neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be in der interaktiven und spielerischen Wissensvermittlung.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interaktive Reise ins Weltall<\/h2>\n

Im Observatorium von Space Eye gehen Besucher*innen auf eine faszinierende Reise durch verschiedene Themen rund um Satelliten und das Universum. Interaktive Technologien wie Touchscreens, Touchtables und ein H\u00f6henmodell mit Projection Mapping machen diese Reise zu einem sinnlichen Erlebnis. Die animierte Astronautenfigur Nova f\u00fchrt als Expertin durch die Ausstellung und vermittelt spannende Einblicke und Informationen.<\/p>\n

Innovative Technologien in Sternwarte<\/h3>\n

Touchscreens und interaktive Touch-Walls<\/a> lassen Besucher, tief in die Materie eintauchen und Informationen intuitiv erkunden. Eine besonders eindrucksvolle Touch-Wall, die von mehreren Personen gleichzeitig bedient werden kann, bietet ein spielerisches Erlebnis der Weltraumforschung. Durch Ber\u00fchren bestimmter Punkte auf der Wand erscheinen detaillierte animierte Informationen, die von der Geschichte der Raumfahrt bis zu aktuellen Himmelsbeobachtungen reichen.<\/p>\n

Auf einem Touchtable mit angeschlossenem Bildschirm k\u00f6nnen sich die Besucher*innen durch eine gro\u00dfe Bibliothek an Fotos navigieren. An einem anderen interaktiven Tisch k\u00f6nnen sie Marker auf der Tischoberfl\u00e4che platzieren, woraufhin sich die animierte Stratosph\u00e4re rund um den Globus mit entsprechenden Satelliten und auch Weltraumschrott f\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n

Ein abgetrennter Teil einer Rakete ist sogar begehbar. Durch eine Luke schauen die Besucher*innen hinaus in das Weltall, das in Form einer gro\u00dffl\u00e4chigen Projektion simuliert wird. Im Inneren des Bauteils k\u00f6nnen sie \u00fcber einen Touchscreen weitere Details erkunden.<\/p>\n

Garamantis durfte im Auftrag der Ars Electronica Solutions die interaktive Software, das zentrale Content Management System sowie zahlreiche Stationen konzipieren und realisieren. Die Software f\u00fcr das H\u00f6henmodell entwickelte Petros Kataras (Ars Electronica Solutions).<\/em><\/p>\n

Zentrum f\u00fcr Bildung und Innovation<\/h3>\n

Space Eye<\/a> ist nicht nur ein Ort der Unterhaltung, sondern auch ein Zentrum f\u00fcr Bildung und Innovation. Die Einrichtung legt besonderen Wert auf die Vermittlung von Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik, Nachhaltigkeit sowie Digitalisierung. Dies wird durch die interaktiven Lernstationen sowie p\u00e4dagogische Programme f\u00fcr Kinder aber auch f\u00fcr Erwachsene unterst\u00fctzt.
