Interactive Media Art at Ars Electronica in Berlin
This year’s Ars Electronica exhibition at the DRIVE Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin runs from 22 July to 26 October 2017. The digital media art exhibition, which is now in its sixth year, focuses on the themes of “encounter” and artificial intelligence.
“What if there was no clear division into human here and machine there? What if artificially created organs and limbs, were self-evident parts of our bodies?”
This year’s Ars Electronica exhibition at the DRIVE Volkswagen Group Forum (Friedrichstraße 84, corner of Unter den Linden, 10117 Berlin) addresses these questions about the changing forms of encounter and relationship in the age of innovative technology.
Fourteen international artists present their works here, which illuminate the new challenges for people and society from different perspectives. For the 6th time, the Forum welcomes our partner Ars Electronica, which organises one of the world’s most important media art festivals in Linz (Austria).
Interactive and inspiring, the exhibition stimulates reflection and invites its visitors to position themselves and try things out. After all, what still constitutes a human being when machines can now also hear, see and understand?
The interactive media art exhibition runs from 22 July to 26 October 2017, daily from 10 am to 8 pm. Admission is free!
