Publishing Principles
Through this website, we aim to present our services, projects, technologies and expert insights in a clear and accessible manner. The following guidelines set out the principles according to which content on our website is created, reviewed, published and updated. They apply to all content on the Garamantis website, in particular to technical and editorial content, service pages, project pages, case studies, blog posts and social media posts.
1. The aim of our content
Our content is aimed at businesses, project managers, partners and other interested parties who wish to find out more about Garamantis, how we work and the possibilities offered by interactive technologies. The website also serves to showcase our own services. However, this commercial purpose does not conflict with our commitment to factual reporting, thorough verification and editorial rigour.
2. The basis of our content
Our content is based in particular on:
- own project experience
- practical experience in design, software development, system integration and implementation
- internal technical review
- publicly available sources that, to the best of our knowledge, are reliable
- Lessons learnt from working with customers, partners and technology providers
Wherever possible, we base our statements on our own practical experience. External information is used to provide additional context, clarification or updates.
3. Information, experience and context
To the best of our knowledge and belief, we distinguish between facts, empirical evidence and assessments.
This means:
- Facts should be recognisable as facts
- Lessons learnt from projects should be categorised as best practice
- Ratings and classifications should not give the impression of being universally valid
Our aim is to present complex topics in a clear and technically sound manner.
4. Responsibility and approval
The content of this website is created, edited and fact-checked by Garamantis. Technical texts are reviewed by the relevant project team members or experts in the field. Overall editorial responsibility lies with Managing Director Oliver Elias. No text is published automatically or posted online without human approval.
5. Dealing with artificial intelligence
Garamantis does not use AI to generate website content automatically on a large scale. However, AI can be used to provide support, for example with research, structuring, linguistic editing or summarising. At Garamantis, however, AI does not replace either specialist expertise or editorial responsibility.
Information that has been researched, compiled, summarised or structured using AI is not accepted without verification. No unverified information is published.
If images are entirely AI-generated, or if they have been created or altered using AI in a way that is relevant to their content, this will be clearly indicated.
6. Transparency regarding projects and sources
When reporting on projects, case studies or examples of use, we strive to provide a clear explanation of our role in each project.
We check external information that we use to the best of our knowledge for plausibility, relevance and reliability. External sources are cited or linked where this is useful for traceability, context or up-to-date information.
All blog posts name and link to the author so that the content can be traced and attributed at any time.
7. Funding and independence
Garamantis GmbH is an autonomous and independent company. It is funded through its operational activities, i.e. from client projects.
The editorial content of this website is not controlled or influenced by third parties. Garamantis does not publish any paid editorial content or links on behalf of third parties.
8. Ethics, Diversity and Language
We support diversity and personal development and reject any form of stigmatisation or discrimination on the grounds of gender, disability or other personal characteristics.
In our editorial work, we strive to use inclusive language wherever possible. Where appropriate and linguistically feasible, this also includes the use of gender-neutral language.
9. Corrections and feedback
We endeavour to ensure that the content on our website is up to date and factually accurate. However, technical developments, market offerings, standards or project statuses may change over time.
Minor linguistic, stylistic or formal corrections are generally made without specific notification. Substantial changes to the content are highlighted where appropriate in the relevant context.
