ESA interactive exhibition

Exhibition “Spaceship Earth” with multi-touch rotary screens in the Ars Electronica Center

Interactive exhibition with seven rotatable multi touch screens

For the Ars Electronica Center (Linz, Austria), Ars Electronica Solutions designed an interactive exhibition on behalf of ESA (European Space Agency).

Garamantis developed – amongst other things –  the multi-touch software for seven rotatable touch screens on which various satellite images from ESA’s stock, along with corresponding additional information, are displayed, depending on the rotation angle.

Also remarkable in this context is a “barrier-free or child mode” that allows users to move any interactive element down to accessible height with a single button-click.
